Morgan Sindall Construction looks to build Wirral supply chain in response to strong Liverpool City region pipeline

News |

Morgan Sindall Construction is encouraging Wirral based SMEs, microbusinesses and social enterprises to join its supply chain.

The company is holding virtual one-to-one sessions with interested parties to discuss forthcoming opportunities as a result of the company’s continued strong pipeline throughout the City Region.

The business already has a strong presence in the Liverpool City Region, with numerous projects underway at Paddington Village within Liverpool City Council’s Knowledge Quarter Liverpool Mayoral Development Zone in addition to the delivery of Liverpool John Moores University’s Copperas Hill development.

Gill Roberts, Morgan Sindall Construction’s social value manager for the North West said: “There are a lot of exciting projects on the horizon in the Liverpool City Region. We’re therefore looking to further develop our supply chain to ensure our work has the maximum possible impact in terms of helping to boost the economy through employing local businesses and helping to create employment and training opportunities. We’re determined that our work benefits all corners of the City Region, and would therefore like businesses from the Wirral to be better represented in our supply chain.
Due to current restrictions we’re unable to hold this event in person, but I would encourage any interested businesses to contact us regarding booking a virtual meeting at which we can discuss the exciting opportunities available. This is a great way to find out more about the work Morgan Sindall Construction delivers and what we are looking for from our supply chain. We know there’s a huge amount of talented companies and tradespeople on the Wirral and we hope as many as possible will join us for these sessions.”

To register your interest in booking a one-to-one session, please e-mail gill.roberts@morgansindall.com. The deadline of expressions of interest is 30th November 2020.
