We're responding to the UKs development of the science and technology industry by building the next generation environments to support economic growth and educational development across all education sectors.

Research and development facilities – both in the education and private sector – are of vital importance for the future of science and technology in the UK.

We have produced some truly landmark facilities for use by the future of science and technology in the UK. These world-leading laboratories and research spaces form an essential part of higher education, and – as in the case of the University of Nottingham’s Sustainable Chemistry building – are often supported by major industry.

On a smaller, but no less important, scale are the schools that we add science blocks to. The facilities may not be as technologically advanced, but they sew the seeds of future scientists.

Morgan Sindall was appointed to build the new Collaborative Teaching Laboratory (CTL) for the University of Birmingham at its main Edgbaston campus.

The new building includes high-specification equipment and modern technologies to facilitate the teaching of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) subjects and will also enable enhanced collaborative and interdisciplinary training and engagement.
